Amna Nasima
In Spring 2022, I did a photojournalism project with Amna Nasima, the American-Pakistani author of Tara the Rickshaw and the Tale of the Lost Kitten. The equipment I used was Canon 80D. I also made a video story based on the photos with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Amna Nasima was born in Cleveland, Ohio but has spent a significant amount of time in Karachi, Pakistan, the place that inspired her to writer her new book “Tara the Rickshaw and the Tale of the Lost Kitten.”

mna Nasima is playing with her cat, Ameera, in her apartment in Chicago. The meaning of Ameera is “strong female leader.” She also has a chaddur on her.

Amna Nasima, the American-Pakistani author of Tara the Rickshaw and the Tale of the Lost Kitten, has just changed on one of her “chaddur”, the traditional Pakistan clothing, in her apartment at Loop, Chicago.
